Crane-out, 14th October 2017

Elie Harbour Crane-out will be on Saturday 14th October, 2017. Craning will commence from 8:00am.

The expected cost will be £40, and all participating boat owners MUST have a valid certificate of insurance cover to show on the day.

 

Elie Skiff update

Thanks to the grant from the Big Lottery Fund, the our order for a new coastal rowing skiff has been placed, with an expected delivery around in October. More information on this new endeavour will be shared in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, here's the latest picture of our skiff in it's manufacturing phase. As of Friday 6th October, looking complete, ready for its painting to begin.

EESC are participating again in the RYA Push the Boat Out initiative, giving free Dinghy and Keelboat sessions over the summer to allow the general public the opportunity to try out the sport. Pre-booking is required, and the contact details are below.  Photographic Competition 2017

Thanks to all those who contributed to making the Photographic Competition held in conjunction with Upper Largo Camera Club a success! The exhibition was held in the Clubhouse from 5th to 7th August, and open to the public. The winners who submitted photographs are pictured below, beside their entries. We hope we can run and expand the competition next summer

Located on the north coast of the Firth of Forth in Fife, Scotland, Elie and Earlsferry has award winning beaches and excellent facilities for dinghies, yachts, windsurfers and powerboat users.

Elie and Earlsferry Sailing Club has a summer programme of sailing and powerboat events and an active social calendar. Visiting yachtsmen, dinghy sailors, helm and crew are most welcome and there is plenty going on ashore for all the family, in and around the village.

The club is an RYA Recognised Teaching Centre for powerboat training afloat and shore based specialist courses We are here to help you make the most of your boating whether a novice or experienced crew looking to brush up on your skills.

Our modern well-equipped Clubhouse, with good disabled access, is adjacent to the harbour and offers a large function room, sun lounge, a wet changing area, showers and toilets. ‘The Galley’ snack bar serves a wide range of refreshments and beach goods during the summer season.
